Police ID suspect in murder of man found under bridge in north Houston

Detectives are searching for one of two suspects wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man whose body was discovered under a bridge in north Houston.

Anthony Johnson, also known as "Yolie," is charged with capital murder.

Detectives say the 21-year-old shot Jawon Carson at his home on December 8, then dumped his body under a bridge in the 4500 block of Richey Road. Carson's body was discovered by a passerby on the morning of December 13.

Police say information gathered during their investigation led them to the vehicle used during the shooting. Witnesses then identified Johnson as the suspect.

A second suspect, 19-year-old Rasheed Shelton, is charged with tampering with. He's already being held at the Harris County Jail.
