A male student had reported a suspicious man who tried to lure him in his van Monday afternoon on Pepperrell Place Street around 4:10pm.
The boy told police the driver was a black male, approximately 32 years of age, about 5' 9", wearing black earrings. He was wearing a black shirt and black shorts.
The male was reportedly in a late model white four-door van. The man reportedly told the student to get in the vehicel but the student ran away.
Upon further investigation, law enforcement authorities said the statement given by the student was indeed false.
