Distefano, 36, hasn't made his $500,000 bond yet. He now faces three charges, but Pasadena police say there may be more victims.
When Distefano was in court on Monday, he faced only one charge of sexual performance of a child. Though disturbing, as more victims have come forward, the allegations have gotten worse.
Now, a 13-year-old has given a detailed her encounter with Distefano to police.
According to court records, in 2009 and then nine years old, she needed help with math and says Distefano, a family friend, took her to a nearby hotel, telling her there would be fewer distractions. She did some homework and as punishment for wrong answers, she told investigators Distefano spanked her. She said he later used rope to tie her hands, paddles and other items associated with sadomasochism as she was sexually assaulted.
Then, according to the charge, he bragged about it to a friend who described Distefano as a "weird guy who always carried around a black bag with strange items in it."
No one answered at the El Lago home he shares with his wife.
The mounting investigation started when the mother of a 10-year-old girl allegedly caught Distefano using bondage items on her daughter upstairs at a home during a birthday party last month.
On Monday, his lawyer told us his client is innocent. On Wednesday, he did not return our call. Distefano is due in court on the new charges Thursday morning.
