Armed robber targets NW Harris Co. drug store

Detectives are asking for help identifying an armed man who robbed a northwest Harris County drug store without ever having to say a word.

It happened around 7pm on February 1 at a drug store located in the 14600 block of FM 529.

Authorities say a man entered the store and handed an employee behind the service counter a threatening note demanding money. He then reached into his pocket and flashed a handgun.

The employee handed the man about $300 in cash and he left the store.

A surveillance camera captured the suspect on video.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 20-25 years. He stands is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs between 150 and 170 pounds, and has dark brown hair and glasses. He wore a dark shirt, black jacket and blue jeans.
