Fugitive suspected in multiple purse snatchings

HOUSTON

Jacorian Louis is a fugitive charged with multiple warrants for aggravated robbery.

On Thursday, February 16, at approximately 8:05pm, authorities say Louis approached a female victim in her garage located at 1600 Romano Park in Harris County. The victim reported a black male suspect approaching her wielding a knife. She began to back away shouting for help. As the suspect got closer, the victim threw her purse on the ground. The suspect grabbed the purse and fled the scene on foot.

On Saturday, February 18, near the 3700 block of Lover's Wood Lane, a black male suspect approached a female victim as she was walking to a friend's apartment. The suspect grabbed at her purse. She began to fight back, and shout for help. He then pulled out a knife. The victim escaped and the suspect fled on foot.

Authorities say after an extensive investigation, Louis was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Investigators believe he is responsible for several other aggravated robberies.
