Surveillance video released of pawn shop smash-and-grab theft in SW Houston

On March 2 at around 4:20pm, police say a group of unidentified suspects ran into the pawn shop located on the 13800 block of S. Post Oak Blvd. The first suspect held the door as two additional individuals overtook the store. According to police, two suspects wielding hammers broke into the glass display cases, and filled bags with a variety of jewelry. The theft was over in seconds.

Both suspects wore dark colored clothing, hooded sweatshirts and gloves to conceal their identities.

An increased reward of up to $10,000 is now being offered for information that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspects in this case.
