It happened around 11pm Friday at the Indigo Falls apartment complex on Ledge near the Gulf Freeway.
Homicide detectives tell us two brothers were shot by a third man.
According to authorities, one of the brothers died at the scene and the other was taken to an area hospital. At last check, the surviving brother was stable.
Investigators are questioning several possible witnesses. It's not clear what sparked the shooting.
Officials said the gunman remains on the loose.
