'Casual Crook' sought in SW Houston bank robbery

HOUSTON It happened shortly after 11am at the Bank of America inside a Food Town grocery store at 9525 S. Kirkwood. Investigators say the man stood in line at the bank and when it was his turn to speak with a teller, he handed her a threatening note demanding money.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was captured on bank surveillance video. He's described as an African-American male between 25 and 30 years old. He stands between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-5 with a medium to stocky build.

He wore a bright green T-shirt and dark sunglasses.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
