Suspect sought in Bellaire bus stop robbery

Bellaire police need your help finding the man behind a robbery at a bus stop along Bissonnet.

A surveillance photo of the robber was taken at a nearby store on June 16, the day of the robbery. Officers say the suspect approached another man sitting at the bus stop in the 5400 block of Bissonnet, pulled out a gun, and robbed him. The robber then ran off.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet to 6 feet 2. He was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, white doo rag, and black sunglasses. Anyone with information about the identity of this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline or submitted online at that leads to the identification, charging or arrest of the suspects in this case.
