Suspect at large after robbing N. Houston bank

HOUSTON It happened at the Sterling Bank at 855 West FM 1960 shortly before 2pm. Investigators say the man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note, which demanded cash and threatened that he had a gun.

The teller gave him some cash, and then he left the bank. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was hurt.

The robber is described as a black male, 25-26 years old and approximately 5-foot-9, weighing 150 pounds. He has a slim to medium build, and a dark complexion. He was clean shaven, wore glasses, a taupe-colored hat and a beige shirt.
