A former Red Cross worker is charged with a felony, accused of embezzling money from the aid organization. Kimberly Davitt, 31, is accused of stealing $20,000 while working as the Deputy Director of Disaster Services. The Red Cross discovered the money was missing after she left.

Prosecutors say the charges were upgraded to a third degree felony because the Red Cross was the victim of the theft.
