HISD not raising meal prices

June 11, 2009 4:00:42 PM PDT
Good news for HISD parents as the school board says it will not raise meal prices next school year. The board voted not to increase the selling prices for school breakfast and lunch. Eligible students will continue to receive meals for free or at reduced prices.

Breakfast at all schools will be free while reduced lunches will remain at $.40. Elementary school full price lunches are #1.60 and middle and high school full price lunches are $1.70.
