Investigators say a woman was with her boyfriend inside Hotshots Pool and Bar on Bellaire at Highway 6 when she started talking to another man. Her boyfriend and the other guy started fighting and a bouncer kicked them out.
The pair kept the argument going in the parking lot. One of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting.
"One male was hit in the chest. A second bystander that tried to intervene was shot in the leg," explained Sgt. Ben Beall with the Harris County Sheriff's Department. "The male who was shot in the chest was transported to Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced DOA."
The man who was shot in the leg was treated at the hospital and released. The shooter took off. Police say they know who he is. They just have to find him.
