Police say a couple of officers trying to serve a misdemeanor warrant ended up ducking for cover. The officers knocked on the door at a home on Chimpan at West Dyna when gunshots rang out from inside. Both officers ducked for cover and ordered the men to come out.

The men inside surrendered and were arrested.

"We're still taking statements and doing interviews on people that were involved," said Sgt. Ryan Chandler with the Houston Police Department. "So as of right now, we can't say for certain whether they were firing at officers, at other people, or just discharging the weapon."

Officers did find drugs and weapons inside the home. The investigation is still underway.
