Mom gets 40 years in prison for toddler's death

HOUSTON That was the sentence handed down to Yokandra Midkiff. She pleaded guilty to assault last week.

In May of last year, Midkiff told investigators her two-year-old daughter was burned by a campfire. She later said the child was burned from a hot bath.
