From 10am to 1pm today, Fire Station 25 will host an open house. Citizens are urged to come out, meet their neighborhood firefighters and learn important safety tips. Residents can also receive free smoke detectors. Fire station 25 is located on Scott Street in southeast Houston.
Get ready to lose some sleep tonight
HOUSTON The Houston Fire Department reminds you to also change the batteries in your smoke alarms. Yesterday, firefighters walked in parts of northeast Houston, checking homes to make sure they had working smoke detectors. They also installed free smoke detectors.
