Gymnastics coach in The Woodlands accused of child sex assault

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- A gymnastics coach is in jail for allegedly having sex with a child while working at a facility in The Woodlands.

Deputies with the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office filed for and obtained an arrest warrant for Morgan Bennett, 22, who police say engaged in sexual activity on multiple occasions with a Maximum Athletics employee, who is a minor. The business is located in the 30400 block of FM 2978.

Texas law states that a person must be 17 years of age or older to consent to sexual intercourse. Deputies did not reveal the age of the alleged victim.
