HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Four units were damaged after a fire broke out in west Harris County.
The fire started around 4:30pm at a complex in the 2000 block of Fry Road.
"Fire crews arrived and found fire and smoke coming from the second floor of an apartment building," said Lt. Dean Hensley of the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.
No one was injured in the fire, and investigators determined the fire was accidentally started after someone discarded smoking materials near the stairs of the building.
