PHOTOS: Flood waters block roads, strand drivers

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston residents woke up to flooded roads and highways after a night of heavy rain.

Photos capture just a few of the locations impacted hardest by the flooding.

In northwest Harris County, drivers continued to try and pass through the flooded intersection on Greenhouse at Saums. Eyewitness News watched as several drivers got stuck in the high water.

SkyEye13 spotted a METRO bus stranded in the high water near I-45 and I-10 downtown.

Eyewitness News was live on the scene when drivers continued to have trouble with flooding at West Bellfort near the Southwest Freeway.
