It's a good thing storms don't actually roll in this quickly.
Watching this incredible time-lapse, it's easy to imagine how nice it would be if storms only lasted 30 seconds. On the other hand, though, the speed makes the clouds even more ominous.
This stunning video was put on YouTube by Tom Stolze, a storm-chaser in Missouri. He wrote, "A line of storms moved into the St. Louis region during the evening of 8/20/2014, presenting an impressive stacked shelf cloud."
When you speed it up like that, "impressive" is a bit of an understatement.
