Houston-area parks close in anticipation of storms
In anticipation of this week's storms, Lake Houston has been lowered and parks have been closed.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- In anticipation of this week's storms, the Coastal Water Authority is lowering Lake Houston by a foot before the rainfall arrives.

As of Tuesday morning, Rosenberg has closed the Becerra and Brazos Park in anticipation of rising water from the Brazos River.

They will stay closed until further notice.
