HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Students at Bellaire High School were moved to a nearby school after a water outage.
According to Houston Independent School District officials, there was no water at the school as a result of an outage in the neighborhood.
Students were sent to Meyerland Middle School where parents were allowed to pick them up or have their children bused at the normal dismissal time.
The City of Bellaire told ABC13 that it was an unscheduled water main break that happened near a construction site. Officials say it could have been a piece of heavy equipment that rolled over the water main, but they are not certain.
Meanwhile, city crews are working to repair the issue. Water should be back to normal in a few hours.
