New vision for University of Houston's Center for Mexican American Studies
Dr. Pamela Quiroz, the leader for the University of Houston's Center for Mexican American Studies, talks about her new direction for the Center's future.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Dr. Pamela Quiroz, Director of the University of Houston Center for Mexican American Studies, discusses her vision for the nationally-acclaimed center following the departure of longtime director, Tatcho Mindiola.

Dr. Quiroz is looking to expand the Center's research component to address the evolving needs of a city and nation rapidly becoming more Hispanic.
