Weekend road closures - a triple threat!

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Getting ready to hit the road this weekend? Watch out for these major closures around town!

The West Sam Houston Tollway will be closed in both directions from West Rd to US-290, from 9PM Saturday to 5AM on Monday. Workers will be hanging overhead signs, and they're closing the lanes for your safety!

I-10 (East Freeway) will be closed in both directions from Lockwood to the US-59 (Eastex Freeway), from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday. Detour to the feeder, but expect delays.

Also in that area, the US-59 ramps to I-10 Eastbound will be blocked, follow the signs to detour. The closure will allow crews to tear down the Meadow St. Bridge. The bridge had been hit several times over the years by trucks that exceeded the height limit.

I-45 North will be closed Northbound from Tamina/Research Forest to FM-1488, from 11pm Friday to 5am Monday.
