Left lanes reopen after fiery crash at Hwy 288 NB at Southmore

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A truck fire has shut down a right and center lane of Highway 288 inbound at Southmore.

Heavy smoke can be seen on Houston Transtar cameras as flames spread inside the truck.

Traffic was previously stopped across all lanes of Highway 288. Vehicles are now slowly trickling by in the left lanes.
