Conroe man gets life sentence for sexual assault of a child

CONROE, TX (KTRK) -- A 52-year-old Conroe man will spend the rest of his life in prison after sexually abusing a young family member for years.

Thomas Jalufka received a maximum punishment of two life sentences stacked on top of a 20-year sentence for the felony offenses of two aggravated sexual assaults of a child and an indecency with a child.

Jalufka pleaded guilty to the three counts of sexual abuse.
