This Week in Texas: Pre-Election Day with Sen Ted Cruz and 18th Congressional District candidates

On an all-new episode of This Week in Texas, ABC13 talks about the border with Senator Ted Cruz and looks at the race for Congressional District 18.

Longtime incumbent Sheila Jackson Lee and former Houston City Council Member Amanda Edwards are both in the running.

"This race isn't about, you know, me or anyone else who's vying for the seat," Edwards said. "It's really about the people in this district."

Jackson Lee is seeking a 15th term in Congress. "I love this district. It is a district of neighborhoods," she said.

Additionally, political insiders Odus Evbagharu and Court Koenning share an Election Day Primer.

"It is unprecedented, quite frankly, to have a Governor as involved as he is [in state house races]," Koenning said. "He is spending a lot of money."
