Gavin Free and Dan Gruchy are the masterminds behind "The Slow Mo Guys" YouTube channel, where the duo films anything from receiving a soccer ball to the face to a molotov cocktail erupting in flames, all in slow motion.

On Tuesday, the duo revisited one of their biggest slow-mo hits: a giant 6-foot water balloon popping, but this time with Gruchy inside. Initially, Gruchy struggles to fit in the balloon, looking like a mermaid/balloon hybrid at the beginning of the video, to something resembling a whoopie cushion with a human head as the balloon expands.

"It's like you're a human sized womb," Gavin says at the balloon expands, with Dan looking more ridiculous inch by inch. The balloon finally explodes at 3:04 mark in the video, with Dan leaving behind his rubbery cocoon, as the water quickly floods away from him.

The slow motion footage of the balloon popping is equally mesmerizing and hilarious, as Dan's stunned facial expression captures the absurdity of it all.

The video was filmed on a Phatom Flex 4k camera at 1,000 frames per second, and has racked up over 1.5 million views since being uploaded to YouTube. You can see the original water balloon video that started it all below.
