Teen shot in bedroom in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police say a bullet went through the window, hitting a 17-year-old in the arm.

This happened at 3800 Faulkner near Scott Street in southeast Houston at about 9 a.m.

Houston police also found an assault victim in the same area. They say an older man had suffered head injuries.

Officers aren't sure if the two incidents are linked.

The investigation is ongoing.
