Woman's body discovered at site of wreck off I-10 at Taylor

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Investigators are trying to determine whether a woman's body found off I-10 near the Heights is connected to a rollover accident at the same location.

Officers were dispatched around 11:30 to a rollover accident off I-10 at the Taylor exit ramp. When they arrived, they found a woman's body.

Detectives say right now, it looks like the woman may have been lying on the ground when she was struck by the truck rolling and was killed.

Police say the area is a known spot for homeless people to camp and witnesses say she's there often.

No word yet on whether anyone in the truck was injured in the rollover wreck.
