Target to pay $10M to settle data breach lawsuit

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (KTRK) -- It appears a class action suit in the massive 2013 Target data breach case has been settled.

ABC News confirmed the $10 million settlement Wednesday night. Anyone who can document a loss from the breach would be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $10,000.

It's not quite a done deal yet. There will be a hearing in federal court on Thursday.
