As neighbors are scrambling to dig out of the snow, forecasters warn that another storm is on its way.
The wet winter weather that moved through over the weekend has cleared, but frigid temperatures are still sticking around across much of southeast Texas on Monday.
The winter storm sparked concerns about power loss. However, in a Montgomery County neighborhood, residents lost something they weren't expecting.
On Sunday, navigating around the icy road conditions in frigid temperatures was the task at hand for many who live near Highway 290 in Cypress.
"We, as a church, equipped ourselves. We have a 110kWh generator, so we don't lose power and run a massive kitchen operation. Our goal is to become an emergency shelter," a church pastor told ABC13.
