Man in custody after SWAT standoff in Baytown church parking lot

BAYTOWN (KTRK) -- A man is in custody after a SWAT standoff in the parking lot of a Baytown church.

Baytown police received a call Thursday afternoon of a suspicious male harassing customers at a nearby Target store. When authorities arrived to the store, they followed the man to the Second Baptist Baytown Church parking lot on Main Street.

Police say the man begin to fire shots into the air.

No other details have been released.
