Suspicious package destroyed at Texas A&M; Building reopened

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KTRK) -- Texas A&M University has given the "all clear" after a suspicious package was found on the campus. The university said the package was destroyed and no explosive was found. The building is now open, as of 12:45pm.







School officials said the package was found at the General Services complex. The building was evacuated as a precaution while police investigated.



A tweet that went out at 10:49am warned students and staff to avoid the area until further notice.



We do not yet know how the package was found.
