Suspect in a mother's brazen murder arrested in Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man suspected in the shooting death of a mother in northwest Houston is now behind bars.

Marion Goodall is charged with killing 38-year-old Leticia Greer.

Houston police booked Goodall into the Harris County jail yesterday. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.

According to witnesses, Greer got into some sort of altercation in the 2800 block of Stallings Drive late Tuesday night.

Police have identified Marion Goodall as the shooting suspect.

Gunshots rang out, and the woman was found lying on the street, covered in blood.

Police said Greer was shot three times, once in the upper right thigh, once on the upper left cheek, and once in the back of the head.

Goodall, 34, who goes by "Trey" around the Acres Homes area, was believed to have left the scene with another person in a gray Dodge truck.

We do not know if police have any leads on the possible second suspect.

Relatives said Greer recently lost a baby, born prematurely during Hurricane Harvey, and said she didn't have any enemies.
