Woman hospitalized after being shot multiple times inside La Marque home, police department says
Police said the gunfire came from outside the home, striking the woman inside.
LA MARQUE, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman was rushed to the hospital after she was struck by gunfire from outside a home in La Marque on Friday morning, police said.
According to the La Marque Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 200 block of Franlee Street at about 4:25 a.m.
Officers said they found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds, with initial information indicating she was shot three times. The victim was taken to the nearby hospital for medical treatment, officials said.
Investigators said that multiple gunshots were fired from outside the home into the building, striking the woman who was inside at the time.
