Deputies said one of the two drivers killed became trapped in their vehicle.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Deputies are investigating after they say two drivers were killed in a wrong-way crash on the Beltway overnight.
According to Harris County Constable Precinct 7, the fatal crash happened on the Beltway 8 Toll Road westbound at Telephone Road, which shut down all lanes for a couple of hours.
Deputy Marcus Anderson with Harris County Constable Precinct 2 told ABC13 this was a wrong-way crash involving two vehicles.
Pct. 2 said both drivers, a man and a woman, died. It's unclear who was driving the wrong way.
The male driver reportedly became trapped in the vehicle, which caught on fire. Anderson said it's unclear if that's how he died.
The drivers killed were the only occupants in both vehicles and have not been identified, authorities said.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
