Texas sports stars react to the Rangers' ALCS win

The Texas Rangers are in the World Series for the first time since 2011.

The Rangers were victorious in seven games after a 11-4 win over the Houston Astros. Texas missed the postseason for six straight seasons but made the most of its appearance this year.

The Rangers got off to a hot start in the playoffs by winning seven games in a row. Adolis Garcia led Texas with six HRs and 20 RBIs in his postseason debut. In Game 7, Corey Seager homered alongside Garcia to give the Rangers an early lead before a four-run fourth inning sealed the deal. Two of Texas' players stood out during the run to the World Series: Seager, who batted .333 with three HRs and six RBIs, his second highest postseason total, and Josh Jungwho had a .289 average with three HRs and eight RBIs.

The blowout win by the Rangers was a big topic among stars in the Lone Star State. Luka Doncicandthe Dallas Cowboys were among those to offer congratulatory messages.
