Katy football coach's house floods
Gary Joseph's house took a big hit during the floods following Hurricane Harvey.

KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- Hurricane Harvey did not discriminate. The catastrophe hit us all including Katy head coach Gary Joseph. He was able to leave his home before things went crazy but came home to chest-high water on his street.

"Not good," said Joseph. "We got hit by the Tax Day flood, but this one hit us harder. We had about 8-10 inches of water in the house and about a foot in the garage."

Joseph wears many hats - father, husband, coach, mentor - so he had concerns all around.

"Only four went down, the rest have been helping. Not just in this neighborhood, they have been helping all over Katy, including the Cinco area, and the Cinco kids have been over here," he said.
