How to get AAC game tickets in Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Get ready, Houston! The American Athletic Conference Championship comes through town this weekend.

The University of Houston Cougars take on the Temple University Owls on Saturday at TDECU Stadium.

Students spent Monday morning in line for tickets. They told abc13 the atmosphere on campus is electric. Students like Moniesha Cole explained Cougar pride is alive and well.

"Before the season to be honest, I didn't go to a whole lot of games," said Cole. "This season, I'm actually there. You're high-fiving people you don't know. The whole experience brings the student body together."

University of Houston athletics told abc13 there will be at least 15,000 tickets on sale to the general public.
