Much to the chagrin of football fans everywhere, ESPN's fantasy football app and website have been crippled by technical issues during the first weekend of the NFL's regular season.

In a tweet, the network said only that its services were experiencing "technical difficulties," and did not provide an estimate as to when service would be restored.
