One injured in shooting in SW Houston

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are investigating after a person was shot in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened just before 5:30am on Hillcroft Street, just north of Westpark Drive.

The victim was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive their injuries.

Investigators have not said whether anyone has been arrested.
