HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- We're following breaking news out of southwest Houston, where a man in his teens or early 20's was found shot to death at an apartment complex.
Investigators are at Sands Point at South Gessner, which is where the victim was found late last night.
Around 10:25 p.m., a resident who lives at the complex heard gunshots. When they went to check out their vehicle, they found the young Hispanic man dead on the sidewalk.

The victim apparently died of a gunshot wound, according to Houston police.
Investigators say they have no witnesses to the shooting yet, but believe someone had to have seen something. They are appealing to those who live in the area or anyone with information to come forward.
The victim's identity is not known. Police are working right now to figure out who he is, and who is responsible for his death. A motive was not known.
