Man shot multiple times in drive-by shooting in southwest Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was shot several times Sunday night in a drive-by shooting in southwest Houston.

According to investigators, the 18-year-old was shot several times after rounds went through the garage and struck him, while he was standing in the backyard.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.

Right now, authorities are still working to determine a motive or suspect.
