KINGWOOD, TX (KTRK) -- A security guard is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl while he was on the job last week.
On Friday, according to court documents, a 16-year-old girl told police that she and her boyfriend were partially undressed and "making out" in a parked car at a parking garage on Lake Houston Parkway when the security guard knocked on the window and told them to get out of the car.
The girl says she quickly dressed and got out of the car. She told officers that the guard, identified as Troy Anthony Whitfield, asked for her identification and told her to accompany him to the office, while her boyfriend was instructed to stay in the car.
At the office, the girl says Whitfield asked for personal information and told her she would be charged with a sex crime. Then he reportedly told her that he wouldn't be able to charge her if she "had something on him." Then Whitfield allegedly sexually assaulted the girl, kissed her and warned her that if she told anyone what he did, she would be charged.
A rape kit test was performed on the victim.
Whitfield was arrested for traffic warrants, and police attempted to collect DNA evidence. Whitfield, 49, is charged with sexual assault of a child and is being held in jail.
