Arizona school bus driver investigated
An Arizona school district is investigating after a school bus driver reportedly locked kids on board

PHOENIX, AZ -- An investigation is underway after a school bus driver in Arizona allegedly locked students onboard for misbehaving, even as the kids' parents were outside the bus demanded their release, reports television station KSAZ.

In surveillance video from the El Mirage school district bus, the driver was captured scolding the children on board. It also shows parents outside the bus trying to pry the door open.

"The longer we stay here, the more your parents are going to be upset," the driver could be heard saying. "And not at me. They're going to be getting upset with you because it's your fault you're not getting off the bus."

The bus driver drove back to the school with parents following, some calling 911.

The school district is reviewing the tape and says it will take appropriate action if necessary.
