Sarah Jessica Parker is ending her relationship with the pharmaceutical company Mylan after it hiked up the price for EpiPens.

The actress posted to Instagram on Thursday, saying she didn't support the company's decision to increase the price of the EpiPens to approximately $600.

In comparison to what it was priced in 2009, a two-pack of EpiPens cost about $100, a price hike of 600 percent.

Parker's post consisted of a screenshot of a message she had written in a response.

A portion of the message reads as follows: "I do not condone this decision and I have ended my relationship with Mylan as a direct result of it. I hope they will seriously consider the outpouring of voices of those millions of people who are dependent on the device."

It appears that outrage against the company has led the company to back down. According to reports, Mylan said it would take immediate action, including the introduction of a savings card that would cover as much $300 of the cost.
