SAN DIEGO, CA -- Polar bears at the San Diego Zoo got an early Christmas present this year - snow!
Zoo workers dumped 26 tons of snow in the polar bears' exhibit. The three bears, Kalluk, Tatqiq and Chinook, wasted no time rolling around in the fresh powder.
Caretakers scattered food throughout the exhibit, and the animals pounced and dug for their prizes, according to the zoo's polar bear blog.
The San Diego Zoo posted video of the polar bears enjoying the snow to their Facebook page, and the cute footage has been shared over 13,000 times.
