Restaurants open on Christmas Eve:

B&B Butcherers

The restaurant will be open on Christmas Eve for lunch and dinner. Guests can order from the regular dinner menu, and Christmas carolers will be performing at the restaurant from 8am-9pm. The restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day.

B&B also offers a Christmas to-go menu including, roast beef, beef wellington, prime rib, glaze ham, and pork roast. Sides include whipped potatoes, creamed spinach, roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon lardon, truffle macaroni and cheese.

Red Lion Pub

The restaurant will be open 11am to 2am both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Traditional turkey dinner will be offered for $24 (until 11pm), along with regular menu items. The plated meal will include holiday favorites like roast turkey, sage and onion stuffing, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, carrots, Brussels sprouts, peas and gravy. For dessert, Red Lion will offer Mince Pies, filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices with whipped cream, Christmas pudding and butterscotch bread pudding available for $8. Guests can gather with family and friends by the scenic fireplace to enjoy a delicious meal surrounded by festive Christmas decor.

Morton's The Steakhouse

The steakhouse will offer its regular menu of prime wet-aged steaks. A special of steak and lobster tail for $55 is available now through December 30. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: 4pm - 9pm.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room

The restaurant will offer its regular menu of fresh seafood offerings. Christmas Eve: 4pm-9pm, Christmas Day: 2pm-8pm.

Caracol

Caracol is hosting "La Cena De Noche Buena" - a Christmas Eve Feast with live music and regular menu offerings. Enjoy popular dishes from famed Houston Chef Hugo Ortega, including wood roasted gulf oysters, slow roasted pork shank, and tamal Azteca, a layered tortilla casserole.

Hugo's

Hugo's is offering a Buffet de Noche Buena - with offerings from famed Houston Chef Hugo Ortega. The buffet is $39 per person and $12 per child, plus tax and gratuity.

Holley's

For Christmas Eve dinner, the restaurant will offer a six-course "greatest hits menu" of dishes including, lobster ceviche, LH gumbo, seafood mescal martini, blackened grouper and chicory dusted beef tenderloin.

PESKA Seafood Culture

The uptown seafood restaurant will be open for Christmas Eve dinner that will feature an a la carte menu of Peska's "greatest hits" from 12pm-7pm seating.

Le Mistral

The restaurant will also be open for Christmas Eve dinner featuring a four-course dinner for $90, 5pm-11pm. The menu will feature for First Course: mini Maine lobster roll on a butter brioche; Second Course: Velout de Chtaignes, chestnut veloute soup, duck confit, hazelnut whipped cream; Third Course: Morue moire, sauce Champagne, roasted black cod filet, Champagne sauce and potato crisp; Fourth Course: Chateubrian farci aux Champignons sauvages, prime beef chateaubriand filled with wild mushrooms, truffle bordelaise sauce caramelized salsify; Dessert: Bche de Nol, praline Christmas log.

The Capital Grille

Both Houston-area Capital Grill locations will be open on Christmas Eve. The Galleria location will be open from 4pm until 10pm, and the CityCentre location will be open from 12pm until 10pm.

Eddie V's

Both Houston-area Eddie V's locations (West Ave & CityCentre) will be open on Christmas Eve from 3pm-10pm.

Grotto

Grotto restaurants will be open on Christmas Eve 11am-11pm and Christmas Day 2pm-10pm. Inspired by an Old Country trattoria ambiance and classic Italian cooking, Grotto delivers a savory menu brimming with timeless recipes made on premises. Creations include many "Old World" signature dishes such as Neapolitan thin crust pizzas, pastas, and meat and seafood dishes.

Luby's

Luby's locations are open on Christmas Day. The restaurant is offering a special menu, with your choice of Prime Rib or Porterhouse Pork Chop, plus two sides and bread for $13.99. Holiday pickup orders are available, starting from $59.99 for a dinner feeding four to six people.

All three Houston-area McCormick & Schmick's will be open on Christmas Day for lunch and dinner. Uptown 10:30am-10:00pm, Town & Country 10:30am-10:00pm, Downtown 11:00am-9:00pm.

Brady's Landing

Brady's Landing is open for a special Christmas Buffet, from 10am-4pm. The buffet includes honey baked ham, a crepe station, made-to-order omelets, pork tenderloin, bananas foster, and a s'mores station and more. Reservations are highly recommended.

Eight Row Flint

"Say Goodbye to Our Pappy" event at Eight Row Flint -- Every year at this time, the beverage industry loses its mind, stressing over Pappy Van Winkle bourbon allocations since each bar and restaurant is only allocated a certain number of bottles, if any. So for one day and one day only, Eight Row Flint is giving it away at cost. Prices will range from $4.47 for 1.5-ounce of Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year to $28.50 for 1.5-ounce of Pappy 23. Festivities take place on Monday, December 26 at 5:30pm. Everyone that walks in the door will be given a wrist band and a number, based on arrival time. Eight Row Flint guarantees 100 people will receive one 1.5-ounce tasting.
