'It's frustrating': Water pressure woes affect Waller County properties, residents say
WALLER COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Residents in the Lakeview subdivision of Waller County told ABC13 they've been dealing with water restrictions and pressure issues for weeks.
Neighbors said that, often in the morning, water pressure is extremely low, and that on Monday morning they barely had any water.
"It's frustrating, very frustrating, especially when you have children," said Lisa Ward, who recently moved into the subdivision.
Meanwhile, she said she's also concerned as the community continues to expand.
"We're all very concerned about this; we're also very concerned that they continue to build more homes out here when they can't adequately take care of the people that already live here," Ward said.
Neighbors shared an email with ABC13 sent on Monday from Inframark and the Lakeview Community association. The email reads in part:
"Waller County MUD No. 34A is aware of the pressure issues the district has been experiencing in the past couple of weeks. We are currently in Stage 3 of the district's Drought Contingency Plan, which prohibits landscape watering and any washing of vehicles, trailers, boats, etc."
Lisa Ward said their family moved in three weeks ago, and those in the community didn't even know about the recent restrictions in advance.

"Just to even water the flower beds that were just recently put in, so we need to water them to keep them alive and keep them nice, and they're not wanting us to do that, and we literally went from zero to three without anybody even knowing," Ward said.
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, parts of Waller County are abnormally dry.
A new notice from Inframark, sent Thursday, said the MUD is purchasing interim potable water to supplement daily capacity.
But Ward said they want the long-term solution fixed as soon as possible.
"I know it's impossible, I know they can't just come out and drill a well right now, but it needs to be moved along a little bit further; it's almost an emergency," Ward said.
ABC13 reached out to Inframark, but has not heard back.
